Birnie Bus Service, Inc. Hires former NHL Vice President of Sales as the Assistant to the Vice President of Operations

Vice President of Operations for Birnie Bus Service, Inc., Eric Taylor, announced today that the company has hired former National Hockey League Vice President of Sales for the Columbus Blue Jackets, Paul M. D’Aiuto, as the Assistant to the Vice President of Operations.

D’Aiuto, originally from Rome, New York, has over 20 years experience in management and sales. Prior to joining Birnie Bus, D’Aiuto was employed by The Columbus Blue Jackets and climbed the corporate ladder from when he joined the company in 1999. Most recently he was the Vice President of Sales. From 2003 to 2008 he was Vice President of Corporate Development and from 1999 to 2003 was the Executive Director of Sales.

“We’re happy to have someone with such high qualifications in management as well as professionalism join our team. We’re also glad that Paul is able to return to his hometown after being gone for over 20 years” said Taylor.

D’Aiuto’s position as the Assistant to the Vice President of Operations at Birnie Bus Service, Inc. will include but not limited to bringing new business to the company as well as managing a majority of the terminals throughout New York State. The projected start date for D’Aiuto is mid August.
