Birnie Bus Sponsors the Rome Science Fair - Behavioral and Social Science Category:

On March 6th, Birnie Bus Service again sponsored the Behavioral and Social Sciences segment of the Rome Service Fair. According to the Rome Science Fair booklet, the purpose of the Science Fair is: an exhibition of scientific research. Competition is introduced to encourage the students to do the very best they can.

Birnie Bus Service Rewards Their Category Winners
Scott Morgan of Birnie Bus Service presented the winners of Behavioral and Social Services projects to RCS 12th grade students; James Kobylanski 1st place for You Can Catch More Flies With Honey which was the development of a computer security program for RCS to protect the schools computers from access by hackers.



The 2nd place winner was Margaret Wilson for her project Music And Math. Margaret Wilson and Leanna Guerreri tested fellow students to determine if music affected their ability to remain focused while performing school studies. Note: Leanna Guerreri was not present at the Science Fair, but was a project partner to Margaret Wilson.
